Grouphunt deal features ONE Keychain, TWO Sound blockers, and TWO Webcam covers
Just like webcam camera hacking is widespread, microphone hacking is also.
We started this project because we volunteer with students who use digital camera enabled devices. The shocking truth is that just about anyone can hack into your computer and turn on the camera or microphone without you even knowing it. The only way to guarantee your privacy is to cover the camera or block your microphone when you are not using it. We believe that it is your space, so you should be the one to decide when your camera or microphone should be used.
Nope Sound Blocker and Nope Webcam Cover feature a subtle design which compliments the beautiful aesthetic of top devices.
How do they work?
Nope Sound Blocker
The micro electronic circuitry in Nope Sound Blocker forces your device to sense an installed mic. This turns off the device's on board microphones which blocks out sound.
- simple to use
- Clean minimalist design
- works with laptops, desktops, smartphones
To come up with the sleek design of Nope sound blocker we used one of the smallest circuit elements available.
Nope Webcam Cover
Nope Webcam Cover is just 2 parts and 3M tape. The mechanism is a slider that runs along the the top and bottom rails. We used a combination of high grade aluminum for the outer rim and a polymer sheet for the slider.
- World's thinnest (0.3 mm)
- smooth sliding system
- works on almost all devices
Why not just use a piece of tape to cover the lens?
- Tape loses its stickiness over time
- Tape is easily forgotten, lost, or repurposed, leaving the camera exposed
- Tape doesn’t look very professional
- Tape may leave a sticky residue
Keychain holder for Nope Sound Blocker
- Holds 2 Nope Sound Blockers. One on each side
- Convenient storage
- Stylish soft silicone
